Volute Ring

Description

This piece is inspired by the volutes and ornaments of the 17th century which represent nature and more particularly plants in a stylized way. These ornaments are themselves taken from the Corinthian volutes, which were ornaments used mainly in architecture. The personal touch of ÆTESIS was to add to this style of volutes a great density of spirals and interlacing to better represent the vigor and chaos of nature, contained and framed by the rigor of the human being.
